MGM faced a cybersecurity attack in September that threw its Las Vegas Strip resorts into chaos and crippled its properties and technology nationwide. The Las Vegas-based company's results came after a pair of disruptions in recent months. MGM said revenue grew primarily on an increase in revenue at MGM China as health-related restrictions tied the pandemic were removed.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $3.86 billion. Revenue grew to $3.97 billion from $3.42 billion.
